Summer Reading

Kismet Public Library is gearing up for its 2009 summer reading program with the sign up starting June 22nd through June 26th. This program is for all ages and groups, Mom,Dad, Nanna, Pawpa, kids, and everyone inbetween. We had wonderful patron participation last year and our hoping that this year is even better. Our theme this year is Be Creative @ Your Library! All the programs will be held at the Pavilion. See the following for dates and times.
Our first program will be held on
June 26th
at the Pavilion at 10:30 A.M.
Our feature presentation will be SkippyJon Jones.
On July 6th at the Pavilion at 2:00P.M.
we will have Color your world with Bob Goodin
and his magical dragon Meihoo.
On July 16th at 10:30A.M in the Pavilion we will have a story time and following that we will create our own mardigras mask.
On July 23rd at 10:30 A.M. in the Pavilion we will have a story time and following that we will create our own musical instruments, maracas.
The final event will be held on July 30th at 10:30 A.M. the Pavilion. The participants will be given their final reading prizes and they will then be able to create their own ice cream sundaes.
